Excellently staged and you will intelligently dialogued, it has no higher difficulty during the life down its incredibly unsightly name.” [ 8 ]

Cobb), and you may a scuffling actress (Evelyn Keyes) whose aunt (Nina Foch) did at the gambling establishment and you will dated good corrupt detective (Jim Bannon). Evelyn Keyes takes on the nice absolutely nothing woman exactly who brings forth the fresh new best in your and you can Ellen Drew ‘s the sleek and you may slinky vixen which becomes your to the jams. Thomas Gomez try greasy due to the fact villain and you may Lee J. Cobb does a special able trip while the an exhausted cops inspector who finally shuts the actual situation.
